This assesses spine, muscle, bony, ligamentous or cartilage pain. Our clinicians will perform a detailed objective assessment to ascertain the root cause of the pain. They will then design an evidence-based plan and intervention that is intended to provide the optimal environment for tissue healing.

If a person has sustained an injury at work or in a car accident, they may qualify for Workcover. We will liaise and bill the insurance company while providing the highest quality care. Where appropriate, we can liaise with the workplace and provide a pathway back to work and recovery.

Acute injuries occur in a short time frame, usually after a traumatic event. We are well placed to assess acute lower back pain, ankle, knee, groin, shoulder, elbow, wrist and neck injuries. If appropriate, we will refer for further imaging or a specialist opinion. We can provide a timely and comprehensive assessment. We can discuss and guide the client through the process of specialist imaging and opinions in Perth if it is required.

Dry Needling is where a fine needle (acupuncture needle) is inserted into the skin and muscle. It is aimed at hyperirritable points in the muscle. The response can be a reduction in the resting muscular tension as well as confusing the nerve pathways. This often leads to a reduction in pain and tension.

Our clinic has gym facilities where we can perform most graduated or loaded exercises. If required, we will meet clients at their gym of choice to provide a comprehensive guided program. We are well equipped to guide a clients rehabilitation following:

• Arthroscopies

• Tendon repairs

• Spinal surgeries.

You don’t have to be injured to see a physiotherapist. We are excellent at designing exercise programs to maximise your potential. We can also provide advice on overall load management and exercise programming.

We provide a comprehensive assessment of function that can determine whether a client is ready to return to work or sport. This will involve various physical tasks testing the function of muscular strength and joint mobility.
