Makayla is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2024 and has since gained experience working within the community disability sector. She has supported individuals across the lifespan, with a range of different abilities. This experience fostered a strong interest in early intervention and supporting children during key developmental stages. Makayla is passionate about supporting children and families to build practical skills that promote independence, confidence and meaningful participation in everyday life. Makayla is passionate about capacity building and giving families the skills to help manage day to day long term. She is most suited to families that are looking for this from their therapy journey. After spending lots of time in the South West / Bunbury region over the years, Makayla is excited to relocate from Perth and call the South West her new home. Outside of work, Makayla enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing netball and spending lots of time outdoors.
